Paccasassi

This is another illustration I made for my Client to advertise Yoga classes on the beach. This one was for the June-July edition, while the hippo is for July and August.

First, I shared with my Client three colored sketches in pencil.

I always do the preliminary sketches in pencil, it gives me a spontaneity I still haven’t been able to find with digital art.

My Client was very happy with the third option so I transferred the sketch on digital and prepared the final version, adding the iconic shape of Monte Conero in the background, since the classes are held in the beautiful coast of the Marche region, in Italy.

The inspiration for the coloring of this illustration where the old Topolino (Mickey Mouse magazine in Italy) comics, with high contrast colors and little to none shading.
